Creating family photos that invoke emotion, a memory, a feeling, takes an eye for the moment. It's the in between moments when you think no one is looking. The expression of love that causes a reaction in the person next to you. These moments are life. They are what make an incredible, lasting, personal memory.

My family photo style would be considered "lifestyle" or "emotive" photography. I love keeping things natural, fun, and real. I want you to wear what makes you feel beautiful and reflects who you are. I want to capture you in a location that brings you joy or is personal to your story. The Nashville area has so many options for beautiful scenery. And I pose a little and prompt a lot, so you can show me the story that is yearning to be remembered.

 There aren't enough photographers in the world to capture all the moments that happen to everyone. I believe everyone should have the basic skills necessary to capture special, intimate, family moments on their own. Granted, this is not to replace professional family photos, because tripods just don't do it my friends. But photo skills should enhance the telling of your family history as only you can tell it.
